▶ HELP US CREATE BETTER CYBERSECURITY EDUCATION FOR FAMILIES ◀
Hi, I'm Gavin Marlowe, the creator of DadCyberTips.
I'm a cybersecurity professional, author, dad, and old school gamer who has spent more than a decade working in cybersecurity and helping people understand how technology affects their lives.
My fascination with technology started much earlier—with computers, games, and figuring out how things worked. I grew up playing games like StarCraft, DOOM, and others, where finding the right cheat code or hack could make you feel like a god inside the game.
These days, I don't have a God Mode button for protecting my family—and neither do you.
What we do have is knowledge.
I created DadCyberTips because I believe cybersecurity shouldn't be something only technical people understand. The same security lessons we use at work should help protect our families at home—especially our kids and aging parents.
My goal is simple:
Take complicated cybersecurity, privacy, and online safety topics and make them understandable, practical, and useful for everyday people.
You don't have to be a hacker to be safer online.
You just need to know what to look for.
Welcome to DadCyberTips.
Look, I get it. Protecting your family online can feel overwhelming. That's why I offer services designed to meet you exactly where you are—whether you need someone to talk strategy with, want to share what you know with your community, or need ongoing support from people who actually understand.
Sometimes you need a real person to help you figure things out. Maybe your teen's just gotten their first phone. Maybe you're worried about something you saw online. Or maybe you just want a custom security plan that actually fits your family. I'm here to help you build that.
Schools want to teach cybersecurity. Companies need it for their team. Parent groups are hungry for real information. And I love sharing what I know with people who actually want to listen. Let me bring practical, real-world cybersecurity to your community.
Join a private community of parents and guardians who actually care about digital safety. Get real-time answers to your questions, share wins with people who get it, and have me available when things come up. It's like having a cybersecurity dad on your team.
6-Week Live Class | $100
This isn't one of those "cybersecurity for dummies" courses. This is real, practical training from someone who actually lives this stuff. Over 6 weeks, we'll cover everything your family needs to stay safe online—and we'll figure it out together.
Live group sessions, Q&A with me every week, downloadable resources you'll actually use, and lifetime access to course materials. Plus you get added to our exclusive community so the learning doesn't stop after week 6.
More details coming soon. Spots are intentionally limited to keep the group small and personal.
Questions? Interested in working together? Have a story to share? I'd love to hear from you.
